Gawler Gateway Tourist Park is nestled among the gum trees on the outskirts of Gawler so you experience that peaceful rural feel that our country-style Park has to offer.
Located on a huge 10 acres of land our Park features a large nature reserve with a dam for you to relax next to in the sunshine and watch the ducks swim by, or visit the kangaroos on dusk that visit for a quiet drink.
We have barbecue facilities in the nature reserve for you to enjoy amidst the peace and tranquillity. For families with kids we have plenty to entertain them, from our huge grassed lawn area to kick the footy around, our large playground and of course, the Pool (includes a toddler pool) which will keep them busy for hours!
We are only a train ride from Adelaide, the city of churches, with so many options to visit including the beautiful Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, Adelaide Oval’s roof climb or take a cruise on the iconic “Popeye” along the River Torrens.

Our Park is the perfect central place to explore the historic town of Gawler with its beautiful architectural buildings, cafes, shopping and numerous Parks and walking trails.

The Barossa Valley is only 20 minutes from our Park with its rich heritage and world famous wines including Jacobs Creek, Chateau Yaldara and many more – please ask us and we will only be too happy to recommend and give details of our favourites.
Maggie Beer
Visit Maggie Beers famous Pheasant Farm and function centre and sample her wonderful produce in the Farm Shop or book in for a relaxing lunch on the lake.
The Whispering Wall
The Whispering Wall is a marvel of engineering for the damning of the Para Reservoir. Visit this attraction in the Southern Barossa an experience the acoustic wonder of the curved “whispering wall”.
