Gawler Gateway Tourist Park is nestled among the gum trees on the outskirts of Gawler so you experience that peaceful rural feel that our country-style Park has to offer.

Located on a huge 10 acres of land our Park features a large nature reserve with a dam for you to relax next to in the sunshine and watch the ducks swim by, or visit the kangaroos on dusk that visit for a quiet drink.

We have barbecue facilities in the nature reserve for you to enjoy amidst the peace and tranquillity. For families with kids we have plenty to entertain them, from our huge grassed lawn area to kick the footy around, our large playground and of course, the Pool (includes a toddler pool) which will keep them busy for hours!

We are only a train ride from Adelaide, the city of churches, with so many options to visit including the beautiful Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, Adelaide Oval’s roof climb or take a cruise on the iconic “Popeye” along the River Torrens.

Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley is only 20 minutes from our Park with its rich heritage and world famous wines including Jacobs Creek, Chateau Yaldara and many more – please ask us and we will only be too happy to recommend and give details of our favourites.

Maggie Beer

Visit Maggie Beers famous Pheasant Farm and function centre and sample her wonderful produce in the Farm Shop or book in for a relaxing lunch on the lake.

The Whispering Wall

The Whispering Wall is a marvel of engineering for the damning of the Para Reservoir.  Visit this attraction in the Southern Barossa an experience the acoustic wonder of the curved “whispering wall”.

The Ladies are always so helpful, great service from all at this Tourist Park. Very clean amenities & so quiet considering they are full. They have a pool, 2 camp kitchens and a playground area with grass. There is also a big space out the back of the tourist park with BBQS and to walk your dog 🙂

We've been here in our caravan since December 2023 and 8 months later, cannot complain one bit. The staff are super kind and welcoming. The other residents here are the same. Facilities are cleaned twice a day and if you ever have any issues, staff are always willing to help. Sites are spacious and the scenery is beautiful. Lots of native trees and the atmosphere is wonderful. The resident children love the park and in the summer the pool is amazing. The reserve up the back is great as well, with barbecue facilities and makes for a nice walk (keep an eye out for snakes). Honestly, cannot complain one bit. Great location overall.

I found myself in a state of temporary homelessness and the staff were very friendly and helpful finding me affordable accommodation in their park. I can't thank them enough for that. I stayed about 3 weeks in a cabin and found it totally comfortable and quiet, especially at night. I used many of the facilities throughout the park (laundry, washing lines, showers etc) and all were kept spotless and in working order by friendly staff. Once again guys, thankyou.

Have been here before and would definitely do so again. Our site was easy to get into with our 9m van. Amenities were dated but always clean. The location of this park is fantastic and I found it great that when arriving from the south and leaving to head north there is a u-turn lane that is easy to use.
Staff are friendly and the office is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Thoroughly recommend this park.

First time here at the gawler gateway Park. Warm and friendly welcome. That was a good start.
$38 a night for a powered sight
Can't beat that. Clean and well laid out park good size sites ideal for your annexe. Amenities although dated they were clean unlike some of the more upmarket parks we've been to. You've got your pool a playground for the kids pet friendly. I have no complaints. This is our go to park now when we come to Adelaide. Out of a lot of the parks we've stayed at that charge quite a bit more with unclean sites poor customer service are poorly designed

Good stopover location, clean amenities, although it is a bit odd having CCTV in the bathrooms .

I have used Gawler Gateway several times for large group accommodation and have enjoyed wonderful service each time. Most recently in October I used Gawler Gateway to accommodate 66 people in the Gateway Lodge and Gateway Quarters. The staff at the Gateway Lodge were really friendly, helpful, and flexible, and organising large group bookings with them has been a breeze. Highly recommended!
